Empowering Agribusiness with Seamless Financing Solutions

Empowering Agribusiness with Seamless Financing Solutions

Who are we?

We are a group focused on providing end to end financing solutions for agribusiness and rural and regional communities. We understand that the banks are withdrawing from the sector and that financing in this area has been incredibly difficult and time consuming. Even where the banks are supporting deals they are taking over six months to assess and fund.

Often an initial approval will be met with the addition of further lending criteria which all to often kill a deal and parties miss the opportunity. We see this increasingly on both the buy and sell side. As a result of the banks withdrawing we have also seen more private lenders move into this space. This has provided some liquidity but the loans offered tend to be short term and at significantly higher rates that traditional banks and non-bank lenders. As a result we aim to bring both equity and debt solutions to this market.

What do we do?

  • Consultancy services – We can assist in strategy for your agribusiness and have a range of experts at our disposal to review and improve your business to meet your future goals. This may be growth in your existing business, diversification and expansion into different areas (geographic, industry etc), succession planning, structuring, financing, divestments, investment and sale/exit. This also extends to circumstances where times are not good and business restructuring or early debt negotiation may be in the interest of all parties.

  • Most of our clients at this present time however are dealing with challenges presented by their banks. Primarily, lack of support in future acquisitions or continuation of their existing facilities. Our aim is to build a rural fund to provide competition to the bank and non-bank lenders at reasonable rates of interest. Most lenders do not understand their client’s businesses and the real decision makers are not “on-farm” or within the rural and regional communities where our client’s live. Whilst our lenders and their representatives also do not live in these areas they are comfortable with our knowledge and relationships in these areas and are willing to back our clients on our recommendations. This is not to say due diligence is not critical but they are willing to look beyond the “postcodes” of metropolitan centres.
  • Farm Debt Mediation Act – One of the difficulties with refinance is the limited number of options available to Australian farmers. We are looking to break the mould and recognise that Australia has some of the best operators have recently been unable to secure refinance in the domestic market. We have access to a range of capital markets and through our partners intend to bring increased competition to this space.

  • Rural and Regional Subdivisions and Property Development – People in the rural and regional Australia need access to housing and development. We hear from many of our clients the difficulties they have encountered in raising funding for rural and regional projects.

  • ATO – Negotiation. DPN.

  • Credit Card/Debt consolidation/Negotiation

  • Referral to professional advisors.

  • Debt Collection
